Third Solar Light in Park
Though there were some issues at first, there is now a new, 3rd, solar light in the park. Again, the objective was to provide light on and around the basketball court as well as the west side entry pathway. Solar lights do not get as bright as electrical powered lights, but considering the low cost and free power for the sun, I think it works well for our purposes. The Board does have more ideas for the parks, but I think everyone can agree the changes, additions we’ve made in the past few years have improved on safety as well…

Vandalism & Theft Will Not Be Tolerated
In recent weeks, the community has had sprinklers broken, value boxes had wires cut, the new shed was broken into, the new message board has had all of the push pins removed, kids placed their homework in it and section titles that were printed just for the message board were tossed out and its also been noticed that kids are hanging and climbing on the new disc golf nets. This not only costs us money to fix and/or replace, but also has led to the flowers to die in the eastern side monument on 157rh and Acoma. As the Board…

Disc Golf Nets in the Park
To continue our efforts improving the parks and providing more activities, the Board has had 4 disc (Frisbee) golf nets installed. These are permanent and were placed in such areas to provide enough space between them and also so the there wont be tons of Frisbees being thrown into the streets. You will of course need to provide your own discs (Frisbees) and choose any spot you’d like to stand in when throwing. We didn’t want to limit your options.
