Annual Meeting & Voting Results 2024
Last night we held our annual meeting, or rather we would have, had we met quorum. But once again, we did not, and thus the current board members are still your board members for the time being. The board did have the option of holding a second ballot, but considering the couple years we haven’t met quorum as well, we opted not to. But then we figured we might as well try again. New Platform Steps at the Large Park
One thing the park really needed, for those of us who live or come into the park from the north side off Evans, is.. well.. a way to get into the park! At least, one without having to walk around to the ramp by the ramada. Until now, we had to try to walk down the rock covered slope in hopes that we don’t slide or fall on the way down. Irrigation Issues: Leaks and Flag Markers
Recently your Board has received numerous inquiries regarding pooling of water in many areas of the common areas. Addressing irrigation issues on a case by case basis is time consuming and creating a backlog with Poor Daddy’s Landscaping, our community’s new landscape vendor. It has been determined that our irrigation system is in greater disrepair than anticipated or budgeted for in fiscal 2022. Working proactively, Poor Daddy’s has been instructed to perform a complete irrigation audit. At times you will see excess water leaking into areas of the common areas. Introducing Poor Daddy’s Landscaping
The State of the Community Good help is hard to come by. As President of this community’s Board of Directors, I can honestly say that Wayne (VP) and myself have constantly tried to get our past landscaping vendor to do what they were contractually obligated to do. In fact, Wayne has personally walked this community almost everyday for over the past 1 year and a half watching the landscaping vendor, taking notes, talking to them, pointing things out, I mean you name it.
