Downed Tree and Park Erosion Updates
We had a large tree come down a few days ago during one of the high wind storms. It was located just behind one the of entry way monuments on 175th and Acoma. We have a crew on site today to remove it. It’s a big visual loss for the area and another tree should be replanted there. Storm Floods Park with Rain Water
Once again the monsoon season is upon us and though the past couple of years seemed to not bring much rain, this year’s is definitely wet. During storms in the past ones like we had today (Thursday July 15th) the parks and other areas tend to fill up with rain water. This is, in fact, what they are built for. Planned Power Outage – July 2021
APS has a 2 hour planned power outage scheduled on July 20th at 11:00 PM through July 21st at 1:00 AM. This is may be due to the construction that they have been doing on Acoma but says they are completing upgrades to electrical facilities in the area. This will likely effect all of Greenway Parc 2 and maybe some surrounding areas.
