Election Results Are In…

Spoiler, there is no results. Why? Because for the 2nd time this year, we did not meet quorum. So what does that mean?

Basically, it means those of us still on the board, are still on the board.

Now, I know that you know that I, Jason Etzel, your President, wasn’t re-running. I have spent 6 years on as President and my free time just isn’t what it used to be. That being said, I have heard personally from residents and some by word of mouth that many of you were happy with me as President. Which is great! That makes all my time spent on the Board worthwhile.. and so you will be happy to know that I will remain as President for the time being. How long, we’ll see.

Brian is also still on the Board and he has had great insight on a lot of things, things that I never thought of and I look forward to continuing to work along side him.

Unfortunately, Amy, has officially stepped down. She also brought great knowledge to the Board and did her part to keep the budget on track. We wish her the best and thank her for her time on the Board. But she was also my key event helper and planner. I wouldn’t have been able to do these events by myself, and Brian’s job takes him away at times, so it usually came down to Amy and I. Needless to say, but we will be needing someone to take her place, and I already have someone in mind, someone who has expressed interest.

Easter is fast approaching and I know a lot of you look forward to our community event, the Easter egg hunt and of course free food and candy. It takes time to organize the event, to purchase everything, to stuff those eggs, to put together those baskets and get the bounce house ordered. Volunteers are welcomed and needed!

I would also like to announce the winner of your 2025 Christmas Decorating Content. First, I would like to apologize of the lateness of this announcement. We had a lot of things going on with the Board and in our personal lives and this one got away from us. Caitlin, our Community Manager with Brown Management, gave us her vote on what her felt was the best decorated.. and many of you have seen his house and it should be no surprise that Kyle’s house was the winner.

I, in fact, did a post on his house just before Christmas and it has been featured many times over the years on the news and has won other contests. Congrats Kyle! We will reach out to you soon.
