    Blind Child Sign

It came to the attention of the Board that there is a bind child in the community. His family had tried to get a sign put up in the past letting drivers know that a blind child could be playing in the area. Unfortunately, for reasons unknown, the city had denied them the requested sign. When the Board heard about this, we immediately reached out to our community manager, Rachael at Brown Management, to see if there was something we could do to help. Long story short, we connected with Rob over at AZ Spruce Up, which his company not…

Many New Plants have been Planted

As stated previously, BrightView, our landscaping vendor, has been actively planting new plants in the common areas and along the streets. We are planting over 400 new plants as well as ensuring existing plants will be getting the water they need and any unused drip lines will be capped off. Later, in a few weeks, you will notice the granite (rocks) in the common areas also be replenished. Another post will be made at that time.

Festive Holiday Lights on Display in the Community – 2020

This year we had many residents showcasing their holiday flair more than ever. With twinkling lights, motion projections and fan powered blow-ups, let’s take a look at some impressive sights in the community in December 2020. This cul-de-sac all got together and strung lights from each house connecting them all. And this house takes the cake! I don’t think he could fit any more decorations if them tried.

    Yard Sale and Arrow Signs

We held a successful community yard sale event recently, and while you may post your own yard sales and directional arrow signs, we ask that you please remove them once the sale is over. We have seen many signs still up after the event and even still after more than a week. Please ensure you clean up after yourselves and remove any signs, tape, boxes or anything else you have placed.

Successful Community Yard Sale – Nov 2020

We’ve heard from several neighbors and other residents about having a great turn out during our most recent community yard sale last weekend. The Board would like to thank all those who held yard sales and we hope during this difficult time, this community sale has helped out by adding a little extra spending money for this holiday season. We look forward to having another community yard sale in the spring time.

  • Wall Repair

    Wall Repair

Last week we had a wall repaired along Acoma between Reems and 157th. There has been a long standing crack in this wall which for one reason or another had been ignored by past Boards. But it has not been fixed and will be painted in the following week to match the rest of the wall.

    Rejuvenation & Pruning

Our landscaping vendor, BrightView, wanted us to pass along this important information on formal vs. seasonal pruning. You may have noticed some shrubs looking a little bare and this downloadable article will help fill you in on how shearing is detrimental to a shrub but proper seasonal pruning can enhance it’s health over time.

  • Goodbye Thrive, Welcome Brown

By now most of you should have received a notice from Brown Community Managemet, Inc., stating that they will be our new management company starting on November 1st. This is true. Greenway Parc 2 and our past management company, Thrive, have agreed to a mutual separation. While they were not with us for very long, they did help lay the foundation to get the community moving in the right direction and the HOA Board wishes them the greatest success. We have chosen Brown Management to continue where Thrive is leaving off and we only see good things to come with…

  • State of Community – August 2020

While some things seem to be looking a little unsatisfactory around the community with fallen trees and plants dying, due mostly from the storms and because of remaining issues with the irrigation, but be rest ensured that the Board is on top of things. Please remember that we are mostly a new Board with a new management team and new vendors, which has led to things getting off to a slow start, and in fact, much slowing than we originally anticipated. The Board is working with management and vendors to focus in on areas that needs attention first. Covid-19 has…
